Jonib, What I would like is that the autoupdater resolves the executabel name from the .ini file. Why? Well, I kept the last 1.xx version in reserve to step back if neccesary, and renamed the "working" version to UE2x.exe. In running the updater should compare to that one, rather than just...

Maybe all this fuss about unpacking isn't worth it. I've been using AutoUnpack for quite some time, it works great in conjunction with Usenet Explorer. I used to use it also, but I must say the feature in UE works a lot better. Also, it has been some time since any development on AutoUnpack has bee...

You can "move" your document folder in XP and Vista to anywhere you like. I placed mine on my NAS, which is on raid as well. Just change the path in properties. Especially handy because I do run multiple users on my systems, and the don't log on to the same one. You can of course use diffe...

Yes... I concur.

Also, it would be nice to be able to configure the path to the import folder.

Since I'm not always on location at my download computer, I would like to keep a folder on my network I can acces externally.

Keep a backup of your serial in the future.

Just some text in a plain textfile on a external hardrive, floppy, CD, DVD, memory card, usb-drive or even a piece of paper will do the trick...

Did you change - or update - your firewall?

Otherwise there should not be any fluctuations unless there's a connection problem.

I guess it also region dependend.

In holland we are used to the "day of week - day - month - year - time" notation since that's our regional way to it.

And yes, that's (one) of the reason's I switched to the age notation.

Although it looks like a good idea, I am a little concerned on the impact on the searchserver. What will happen if some eager users are using this to watch through the server every 10 minutes or so on a bunch of filters?

Or am I overconcerned and will the server cope with this without problems...
