This may now be off topic but I'm interested to know whether your rewritten par2 repair is multi threaded? My gripe with Quickpar is that it would only ever run as a single thread, so on the upcoming hyper threaded quad core Intel processors Quickpar is only going to run on an eighth of the processo...

Nevermind, user error!

Thought the path for extraction was the path to unrar.

I've found my downloads extracted in the winrar directory.

Sorry for the trouble.

I set the options to what is shown in the screen linked below... http://www.picoodle.com/view.php?img=/4/5/27/f_unpackscreem_7bcc676.jpg&srv=img26 ...and the avi turned up in the same directory as the rars and pars. I set everything to auto for the next download and there was no rars, pars or av...

Unpack feature, no AVI

Thank you Alex for the unpack feature, this will save me a lot of time writing batch files. My first use of this feature did not go so well. When I looked in the folder all rars and pars were gone as expected but no avi file either. All options were left at default and the Par2 download limit was se...

Many thanks Alex for adding in SSL support into the program, it has been working for me without fault. It might be worth mentioning to UNS that UE is now "SSL Aware" as they put it... http://www.usenetserver.com/download.html#PC Noticed other have the little SSL badge and now UE should too.

I just changed turned off SSL and set it back to port 119, do not have any problems downloading!

I am not experiencing any slow down using SSL, at work I got 8MBytes and at home I still get my meager 150KBytes.

Sounds promising, I'm sure you would not find anyone complaining about a 1.3Mb program. About the Root certificates, there is indeed an option to export certificates from IE7. I presume we would need to find out from our news server which CA they use? So if my usenet server uses GoDaddy I would go e...

Kudos to Blurr for the walkthrough.

Native SSL would be appreciated

Still downloading at 64Mb even with SSL on, am running on an old AMD 4400 X2 CPU with 1Gb RAM. SSL does not seem to be slowing things down for me at all...

Oh yeah so it is... Sorry

I was looking for something that I knew was there but nothing came up.

Look for...

Altered States

Came up with little, looked for...

Altered.States

...and there was the files I needed, think I'm gonna have to learn the syntax of the search feature better.
