I often like to have threads opened when I am viewing binary groups. If you add the arrangement where once opened NP would preserve that setting for that ng, that would satisfy my wants. But it's not a biggie!
Thanks!

Oh, hey Alex, I did have a soft question on the Server search thing - I created a folder and created a #group in it, and removed the verizon server from it so there's only one server attached to it, and did every search I could think of but couldn't get any results. Since I know there's still some D...

Thanks. I take them all cause I seem to be in there every day so a new header run for my 7 movie groups, on 2 servers, seems to take less than a minute. My prob is that I don't notice something (pauses to start NP to finish downloading queue!) and so I have to go back a few days to get it. 1-...

filter question: If I want to exclude subjects containing Dick van Dyke (for example), how do I state this in a filter without losing Dick, or Van, or Dyke individually? Is it done with quotes? or how. If this is documented or explained in another post, please point me to that. (html pointer) edit: ...

Hi, at the moment I am beginning to think that disk fragmentation may be a huge prob - I will have to check it frequently. It is made worse that I have been testing other newsreaders lots in the same partition. Just a thought for you. re you - Given the choice, I would recreate the database. I delet...

Yay! Progress!!! I have a Verizon DSL connection that tests at 1.69 Mbps (1.45 to megapath) and usually maxes at 190KBps. Going against Astraweb, the plot looks pretty shabby with one thread running, but is solid 190 with 3 threads. I run 6 threads max, for what it's worth. So if I click update grou...
