Can't expand *.avi.XXX or *.avi.volXX+XX.PAR2 before downloa
I get these lines when I expand "Angel" in one of the newsgroups where I get anime series. This is one example, but there are many like this one. +---+ | - | Angel [*/15] "Angel" +---+ | +---o Angel [XX/15] "Angel.avi.XXX" | +---o Angel [XX/15] "Angel.avi.volXX+XX....

Headers from search not saved
When I search something, if I select a few of the resulting headers and import them, it opens my Import folder and I can see all the headers there. Now, I unload the Import folder and reload it. The header are gone. They were not saved. I don't always have time to download them or I overextended my ...

you can create a view filter (in the filter editor) which does what you want, then you just select the filter in the filter combo box, with those filters there is no such prompting logic. No, you can't categorize a list of heterogeneous names using a named pattern (here the wildmat filter) when the...

add a way to kill the mutex between del, new/old and un/read
I use the del/^del, new/old, unread/read and flag/^flag as simple flags to categorize the headers. To do so, I desabled all option that would change the flag status after event like "Mark new headers old on close view". Now all I need for this to work perfectly is to have an option to disa...

Wildmat strange behavior
When I use the following pattern "(1|1e|1x)01" and I would expect it to accept strings like "...101...", "...1e01..." or "...1x01...", but it does not (it returns nothing). And if I use "s0(1|1e|1x)01", I get almost all the headers. I could use "...

Wrong date for collections
The choice of date for the collection should also be from the last header so that when sorting by date it gives something consistant with what is listed when we expand the collection.

it is just a heuristic algorithm ... as you can see the performance impact is negligible ... I agree performance is important. if there would be an agreement and all subjects were well-formed you would blame the poster. It would certainly make your life as a programmer easyer, but I don't beleave a...

Low virtual Memory
This problem has happened twice. The first time, I reseted the database to get rid of the problem. Right now, newspro is using 1.2GB of my memory (physical + virtual). What really makes this strange is the fact that the "Data" folder uses only 157MB and that I have only approx. 100,000 hea...
