Generally that's true, but with KAV it's not. Even though KAV takes some CPU usage, it's not alarming high. I've been searching quite some time before I did debut this. What led me to KAV was checking my networking moninor (I use Nelimiter 2). The internet speed given was about twice my maximum spee...

The problem is Kaspersky Antivirus. By Default Kaspersky scans alle internet traffic, including traffic throug port 119 for NNTP. You can disable this in the options for internet scanning. It's one of the reasons I stopped using Kaspersky. Remember: disabling kaspersky (pausing) does not help!. To d...

The search is not intended to be a replacement for getting headers. And that's where you are using it for if I read your last post correct. Apparently you are using the search to find brand new files, and if a post is not compleet yet, you will check again 5 minutes later? If you want to make this f...

Yeh, it's called Human Intervention.... If you don't do the same search twice (and why should you?) you won't get multiple tab's for the same search. Ofcourse there would be a way to program "human errors" out, but that's not really important. Look at it this way: You still can format your...

Just a thought: Adding the option to import a bunch off headers from the search service as a collection to the import-folder, even if they are not a collection? Or manually define a group of headers to be a collection in a regular newsgroup? Or does this mean that the whole collection strategy will ...

I assume you checked your computer time not to be wrong? You could (temporarily) change the age display into date display. That way you can see whether someting is wrong with the database, or whether the problem has an other origin. You can use the [show age/date] button on you toolbar to switch (ma...

CLI is a program that runs a proces for your ATI videoboard. Since it has no business connecting to the internet, I would not allow it (although it's probably harmless). There are many programs that don't have any business connecting to the internet, but apparently are trying anyway. You can disallo...

Ok, now we are here, I've got a headache to (because of the thinking...) Now we've got auto-folders there's a whole new range of possibilitys. How about: - When ready downloading items to a auto-folder, checking them with par2? - If above finished succesfully, unrarring them to autofolder? - If abov...
