The problem is Kaspersky Antivirus. By Default Kaspersky scans alle internet traffic, including traffic throug port 119 for NNTP. You can disable this in the options for internet scanning. I assume you checked your computer time not to be wrong? You could (temporarily) change the age display into date display.
