You could try using Properties > Tasks and set an overload limit to prevent more headers from coming in than your system is able to process.

Which ones are giving the problems? I know some of the east/west versions have varying levels of retention, but for recent files I see them appearing on most all servers that carry the group.

The newsgroup info listed for each article within NewsPro relies on where you have retrieved headers from. I'm running WindowsXP. I don't see any log file, but the path is C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework/ and two folders are inside it: v1.0.3705 and v1.1.4322

I just installed the framework yesterday from a file I downloaded the day before.

It must just be something on my system causing a problem. I got the file down to 1.62MB, but when I open it the same nothingness happens.

Am I doing something wrong or is there a limit on the size of the SavedAttachments file?

It processes the list from oldest headers to newest, so if the group has many total articles then showing deleted headers might take a few moments to complete.

Headers aren't too trivial an issue since once you obtain new headers you won't re-download them if you issue get new headers again. To download a file again will do just that: download the file again. But for headers if you get new headers two hours ago then it shouldn't be a big deal if you forget...

I have a filter that shows only new headers that I use as the initial filter on my text groups. That way I can easily see which articles are new and they disappear from my list after I read them and delete the body.

And if there is a question mark you can see the cause by checking the Error pane in the Task Manager. One or more of your servers could be giving problems.
