Re: Save articles from newsgroup - fails
I have a problem when saving articles from newsgroups. If any author har more than one reply to a thread, all of the articles are saved with the same name, thus overwrithing what has already been saved. Is there an option somewhere that can be set to avoid this overwriting? Menu->Edit->Properties->...

Have you looked at Getting started from the UE homepage?
And it sounds like you are trying to run UE(Usenet Explorer) from the install file? as it shows the "release history" page. You need to run the UE.EXE to start UE.

Re: How to relocate Import folder?
Inside UE is up to Alex. With my idea you can have your import folder wherever right now , and should be easy with for example Junction Link Magic.foxpro wrote:Interesting concept. Never used it to be honest. Would prefer a more straight forward solution inside UE, though, to keep it simple.

I don't know any setting, sorry.foxpro wrote:Is there a way (ini file) to change the location of the import folder?
If you are using NTFS you can make a junction point where you want that points to UEs import folder.I would want it on a different drive away from everything else.
Thx.

Re: Exporting newsgroup headers
Hi, This may be a bit of a longshot, but is there currently any way to export the downloaded headers of a particular newsgroup into some sort of usable format (text, xml etc.)? Right click on the headers you want contextmenu->Advanced->Export headers it will save a .NZB(XML) file with header info. ...

This is absolutely perfect! I was just wondering if there was some way to do this when UE reminded me of a new version and here I'm reading the relnotes that exactly this has been added. :D Now I just wish UE would return control to me (header scan practically locks me out) so I can install this ne...
