UE cannot unpack this nzb

Post by tijgert »

It is not passworded, but simply obfuscated names.
SabNZB can deal with this, but UE not.
File added as example.

Those are a bit strange, as every rar part is named differently.

There are no par2 files which could be used for renaming.

It looks like he forgot to add par2 files. Are those posts still happening?

Hi Alex,

These NZB posts are quite frequent.

To have the NZB files unpack one needs to add the .par2 extension to the smallest file, simply by renaming it.
From there you can simply invoke PAR2 renaming on the now renamed par2 file, repairing and then start unpacking.

Kind regards,

Glamding

I think it is supposed to catch par2 files without extension, but if it has never been encountered/reported maybe no, I'll check it out shortly.

Do you have a sample of such nzb file?

The sample which was provided by the original poster didn't contain any .par2 files

If the .par2 files don't have extension it is pretty simple to handle, but I need a sample of such a post to at least see that they exist and it will be the solution.

Try this one:

If there are no par2 files you can try to disable par2 verification for auto unrar in properties->save/unpack

I looked only at 2 samples, if something doesn't work I may need to adjust the subject string match, to make it more generic.
