Solved not updating headers in some groups

I rearranged retentions recently (around March, 20) and as an undesired result the number of indexed headers in one instance exceeded an artificially set limit.
So for a little more than a week the search service server instance which was affected didn't get new headers.
The instance covers mostly smaller and maybe less popular groups as I didn't have complaints until today.
The headers are now up to date.
