Hello, I just installed Newspro but with the first attempt downloading I got a "500 Syntax error or bad command" error. Can anyone tell me what that means.
I'm new with this so........ plane Englisch please

ensure you entered server userid/password in edit menu->properties->servers.

also try to enter a public server - e.g. news.microsoft.com and download from it, if it gives the same error it might be nntp-aware firewall on your computer.
