For a certain newsgroup I want to get ALL headers from the usenet server. How?
The word "All" means all headers, that the server (according to the NNTP retention of the newsgroup) can deliver. In this case approx. 2000 days.
UE get headers only till 137 days old.
Must I change certain properties? Which ones?
UE can deliver only "NEW" headers. What does the word "NEW" mean?
UE has not the feature to get ALL headers... (not likes Forte Agent).

In "Edit menu->Properties->Newsgroups" set retention to "natural" and headers per server to "all", then press OK, it will ask if to redownload headers, click yes.
Then download headers it will download everything available on the server.
If you think the server article numbering may be wrong (e.g. if the retention was already natural and headers per server were set to all), before downloading headers you can invoke view menu->workspace, the leftmost "Newsgroups" pane, then for affected newsgroups or for the root entry invoke Context menu (right click)->Advanced->Reset header ranges.
If you still see low retention try to contact usenet provider support, maybe they don't provide headers for all retention they support as to downloading article bodies.
