it ate my new server

Post by Kristi »

I had NP all set up with 2 servers, and had d/l'ed about 700mb of binaries (which fortunately I had saved, rared, and extracted). I had added a server subset, but then deleted it. I had restarted it a few times. Then I checked "Optimize db accesses" (which I had done before a few times), and when it was all done, I was back to just one server - the old one. There goes another half hour shot to (&*%(&^ getting the headers back. Obviously I can manually back up the entire db folder, but what did I do wrong?

if you saw the server, especially after restart - it cannot be deleted by itself, say if you created a server and didn't see it on the next restart it could theoretically mean that save to the disk failed, but if it is already there no scenario when it would disappear.
