HELP! UE just stops

A little while ago, out of the blue my AV program, Webroot said that UE.exe contained some sort of virus. I told it to ignore it.

I've been having problems with my WiFi connection and rebooted the computer. Now when I start UE it runs for about a minute, then just stops and exits. I've turn Webroot off, so its not killing it.

To be sure UE.exe was good, I re-installed the latest release, but it still exits.

Any ideas???

Hmm, apparently the problem is in the database. I restored a back up and UE has been running since.

If you see something again and you use compressed executable (extracted with UE extractor) try uncompressed version.

Otherwise check if the antivirus has whiltelisting submission form, I had to submit UE to Symantec after users complained to stop Norton from deleting the program.
