Reading mbox files

Greetings,
I have a bunch of old mbox files containing messages from usenet groups, plain text. Not sure how they were created. One small (zipped) such file is attached.
Can I import them in usenet explorer so I can read them? I tried the "Import only" menu item from "Import" but didn't work.
