Task manager Window won't display

I was getting this problem sporadically in version 3.3x and am now getting it constantly in 3.6x.

When I goto Tasks -> Task Manager, the Task manager window does not display. The first time I goto it, it does nothing. The second time I try it, it kicks newspro from the focus as if some other window/program now has the main focus. I've also tried Control - T which does absolutely nothing.

I'm on Win2k Server. Any suggestions?

Hmmm

I think my database is corrupt. If I move/rename the database and create a brand new one so newspro thinks i'm not registered anymore, task manager works.

Now where did I put my serial number? :)

You can find the answer here:

http://www.netwu.com/newspro/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=66

What I see here it won't place task manager beyond the screen even if I change the screen resolution, I still can see it, several pixels wide it always remains visible.

Since it is the second such case in a few days - I changed it so newspro will check the placement itself and will leave at least 70 horz/vert pixels visible. If you redownload the file it will behave this way (also for future releases).

Odd

Hmm, I had to increase my screen resolution significantly(1600x1200 instead of 1024x768) and then it appeared and I moved it accordingly.

I'll download the new version so hopefully it won't happen again ;)
