Basic Filtering Question

The Edit -> Message Filter dialog contains buttons for 'Reset & ...'.

How do I set up the 'Reset' part in a filter in the Edit -> Filter Editor that I can apply with Edit -> Apply Filter, without having to do an Edit -> Reset Filter first.

Cheers.

Apply now works like 'add', you can press Ctrl+S (edit menu->message filter dialog) and then click 'open' (filter). Maybe I'll replace 'apply' in the menu with the two options.

That's still multiple steps. I currently do it via Alt+R, then Alt+Z.

An alternative to providing 2 versions of Apply (Alt+Z) would be to add an option (Reset before apply ??) in the Filter Editor.

Cheers.

no, you don't need to reset, in the message filter dialog there are buttons 'open' and 'add', 'add' works like 'apply' in the edit menu and 'open' like 'reset'+'add'.

the alternative would be to have instead of 'apply' two entries working like the buttons in the dialog, i wrote it down, something very small.
