Sorry if this is asked and answered, but I couldn't find anything that addressed my particular desire...

For my purposes, getting new headers once every morning would be just fine. With my connection, this task usually takes about 30-45 minutes for all of the groups to which I subscribe.

I would like NewsPro to automatically download new headers for ALL of my subscribed groups every morning at 5:00am.

As I understand it, Auto-Get Headers is configured to download headers every x number of minutes. Obviously, if, at 5:00am one morning, I enabled this to do so every 1440 minutes, that would serve my purpose! but, I would have to re-do this every time I shut down and restarted NewsPro to stay on Schedule, right?

As I understand the Scheduler, it can be set to do things on certain days at certain times. Is there a way to set the scheduler to get new headers every day at the same time?

Again, sorry if I'm clueless...any help is appreciated.

what is the reason to do that?

if it is permanent connection it doesn't make much sense, you can get new headers every 30 min and it will work in the same way. downloading headers will take the same total time whether you do it every 30 min or once a day.

if you don't need any activity at all - you may set up scheduler (properties->scheduler) so it will wake newspro up at 5am say for 1 hour, when you use newspro just disable scheduler. use the set button in scheduler to set the same value for every day in one click - select everything, type the interval and press 'set', it will be more than for 3 months then. There are scheduler related settings in the tasks menu, the enable scheduler option is the same as in properties->scheduler.
