Can't view undeleted headers

Something weird is happening, and I don't know if it's a NewsPro issue or a Newsfeeds one.
On groups that I pull headers from the exe-east server, even tho' I get the headers OK, once I delete them, clicking the undelete icon acts as if it's stuck. No disk activity, and no undeleted headers come into view. If I close the newsgroup and re-open the icon is unstuck.
Other groups with headers from different servers, work fine, vis-a-vis undeleting.
Also, messages I posted through exe-east this morning don't show up, but an XPAT shows them on three different servers.
I could see that the posting might be something going on at Newsfeeds, but what's up with inability to see undeleted headers locally?

maybe you were downloading headers at the moment, and it is why undeleting was slow, especially if it is large newsgroup and deleted headers are towards the end. also ensure you don't have purging enabled for this newsgroup (edit menu). if it not that - try to restart the program, if all remains the same (although i cannot imagine any reason) - reset the newsgroup (but you still need to undelete headers after downloading headers).

I probably was downloading headers, but from my ISP, not Newsfeeds.
I just checked again. I'm downloading articles now, but of the few NG's that I use the exe-east server for headers, the ones acting up are a.b.cd.image (79,000 headers) and a.b.multimedia.utilities (17,000). Other groups using exe-east show deleted's fine.
Purging is not enabled on any group. I'll check again when the downloads complete, maybe reset and see what happens.
As for why the my posts showed up on servers other than the one I posted to, I guess I'll attibute to Newsfeeds.
Thanks, Alex.

It processes the list from oldest headers to newest, so if the group has many total articles then showing deleted headers might take a few moments to complete.

i'm working on a design where the operation will be very fast, although it will block, so you'll see the hourglass cursor (supposedly for a very short time) and then all deleted will be displayed. now it runs as a concurrent activity so you can do something while it is undeleting (the consideration was back then the operation is not so frequently needed).

I don't think this problem is NewsPro-related. Other groups with more deleted headers in the database show them immediately, whether I'm downloading anything or not. My system is fairly fast with more than ample memory; anytime I've noticed a lag with a NP operation there's HD activity -- pagefile swapping, I suppose. Not here.
After resetting the two groups in question last night, a.b.multimedia.utilities acted fine; a.b.cd.image tried to pull headers for a while, then kept getting 20011 errors (unexpected termination by server).
This morning, *all* groups pulling from exe-east returned the 20011 errors. I've changed them all over to exe-west and things are back to normal so far.
Tha'Lunatik, have you noticed or heard of anything going on at Newsfeeds concerning the exe-east server?
