I've been a long-time user of UE (registered), never had a problem until recently. About 2 months ago, I started to experience 430 errors (no such article found) when attempting to download any MP3 file. Since then, I have never successfully downloaded an MP3 file, or any audio file for that matter (video downloads fine).

Keep in mind, I NEVER had this problem before, and I haven't changed a thing in my UE settings or PC in general. I spoke to 2 other UE folks who told me they've experienced the same problem.

What gives?

I don't have this issue. I can download MP3's just fine.... Just did it.

Could it be that your usenet provider has removed the mp3's from its servers?

This is a typical message, you get when the file is no longer present on the server.

It could be a matter of retention on your usenet provider. UE currently has I believe over 180 days' worth of retention. If your news servers do not have that much, you may run into retention issues.
