first of all, big thanks to alex for the nice program. I used grabit before, but switched to NP because of the excellent multiserver support.
Is there any way to get the download queue sorted by date, so oldest articles will be grabbed before newer once? These feature could be very usefull to get ride off small retiontions on some traffic unlimited servers. Especially UNS got very short retention but fast server for me. So it will be the best to grab first the oldest messages to get them, before the got deleted on server.

the option is in tasks menu->sort article task queue by date, it does exactly that.

the only exception (or rather a useful property) is the 'download immediately' priority range (see properties->tasks) which doesn't follow this rule, so you can still mark something for download immediately disregarding dates with the priority order and keep the rest of the queue downloaded by date - the oldest first.
