hi alex..
ever since i d/l 3.1.1 my d/l speed varies from 67.3kbs to 180kbs if i am lucky...there is nothing wrong with the internet connection as i regulary use other forms of downloads and that hits arouind 750-950kbs...
prior to this i have had no problems with the bandwith speed..any suggestions?

How do you determine the speed - not from UE status bar?

The status bar shows kilobytes per seconds (KB/s), to get kilobits per second (kbps) you need to multiply by 8.

Otherwise check it is not firewall (scanning incoming packets) or antivirus (checking files being written into disk) try to change ports etc.

Check UE processor usage, should be near zero especially when only downloading article bodies whatever is the download speed.
