where are my newsgroups

Today I deleted all newsgroups because of groups I missed. Than I do a rescan. I see 38379 as number beside "newsgroup list"
but I cant find any group....

You can reset newsgroup list, or check "Del" in the quick filter bar to see deleted newsgroups, UE still keeps them, just marks them as deleted, you can also "purge" newsgroups to remove them completely, purged newsgroups will also reenter during rescan (or you can invoke "purge deleted" from the context menu).

I purged today the newsgroup but get not back the newsgrous with:
"open&rescan"
I deleted all inside "C:\Programme\UE\Newsgroups"
restart of UE
and than I can rescan with success.
