Is it possible to configure Newspro to only show the new posts in a newsgroup ?
Usually the new ones are red and the older ones are black, and the only filter I know is by Date. But it is not perfect, and I have to run the filter after the download has ended which is sometimes on a large amount of data.

you can use edit menu->message filter 'messages' 'are' 'new' or set the filter as the initial filter for the newsgroup (the newsgroups pane of the workspace window).
