As I sit here waiting for Newspro to rescan headers for the 4 servers that I get headers from, after mistakenly hitting the rescan headers trying to hit the get headers menu item, I see real value in having a dialog box that says "Are you sure you want to rescan headers?" Yeah, I know, you can tell me to quit screwing up, but there's one for the X that asks if I want to close the program (which I appreciate, having missed the X for the close newsgroup/folder a few times).

Oh, and I'm afraid to stop it, concerned it will corrupt the database.

I stop it all the time and have not corrupted the database. The only time so far that I have corrupted it was a power outage.
