You won't lose your attachments by resetting the database.
Mapping Failure - HELP!!!

Please help, I ran out of disk space on my download drive and autosave became disabled. Now I have masses of attachments stuck inside the database.
Everytime I try to open any groups the memory usage goes through the roof (Currently using 1.29Gb of page file!!!!). Eventually I receive a mapping failure error message (MapViewOfFile failed with a system error
(blah blah blah) - Not enough storage available to process the command.
I'm running Win Server 2003 on a dual P3 700 with 768MB RAM and page file set to automatic. I've tried adjusting the hdr.dat settings manually and leaving them on automatic but I always get the crash.
I really want to recover the attachments from the database rather than just resetting it. Can anyone suggest what settings to use to allow access to the files?
I just noticed my Database Data directory is 2.37Gb (OUCH!)
TIA,
S.

Thanks d4vr0s.
You're right, all the attachments were still there and have been saved.
Now all I have to do is re-populate three days of missed headers
Thanks again.
