Hey Alex,

Since few days ago the program prompts about the v7.7c update, but then it shows the v7.8 download page.

I'm using v7.7 and it runs fine otherwise.

I've just fixed it.

It has something to do with the up-to-date releases.

v5.9x (orders back to 2005, the arrangement since around two years ago) downloaded the .zip file, so I only uploaded v7.7c zip files, but the v7.7 code redirected to the executable file extractor. Now I compiled and uploaded both extractors. Even though they are not shown on the download page the extractor link is now valid, so the browser will download the v7.7c extractor and won't default to the UE download page.

A minor release only differs by version letter and the file name remains the same it is why it shows v7.7, the update notification is based on https://www.usenetexplorer.com/version_reg.htm and the full version number shown in Help menu->About.

So all should work now as expected. I was focusing on the program itself and missed those secondary details.

I've revised the update code further, so it hopefully always directs to the most relevant download depending on the update settings.

The latest version can be left as it is since the changes matter only in the case of future upgrades.
