newspro keeps auto-saving my downloaded attachments every 2 min. (sometimes after 1 min.) even though I set the auto-save option on 600sec.
I'm running 3.71 and when it autosaves it takes up 50% of my cpu-time (I have a dual-xeon 2.4 - I know it's not multi-threaded), it seems as if it hangs completely for 2 minutes. During this 'hang-up' newspro stalls the pending downloads, shows up as not-responding in task manager (in fact, in the middle of this freeze period task manager shows i'm running 2 instances of newspro, which i'm not).
After 2 min. the whole thing comes back to life again, only to do the same thing 2 min. later. It never crashes, so if I could manage to get it to auto-save every 15 min. it would be fine, but whatever I put in this box, it keeps auto-saving very often, which is very annoying as it cripples this hotrod workstation.
Any suggestions ?

I have mine set to seven seconds and never even know it runs , maybe 600 is out of the realm of possiblity , try shorter. Under the tasks menu have you tried different settings to see what will happen . Blocking should test to see if you can shut it down or it is something weird .
