Any way to recover from out of space errors?

Post by Eric »

Sometimes when I am Dling a lot of files I will go ahead and start saving some of the other files at the same time and run out of space so the program stops everything.

Is there any way to resume everything manualy without having to restart newspro itsself.

it says

"[NewsPro REcoverable Exception] Disk full or read / write
error?]
Further autosave has been blocked (see task menu to"

I ahve looked in the task menu before, but never seen anything to continue on manualy before so had to ask.

and yes that is a exact quote of the error msg. parintuasies and all, which seem to be out of alignment as well, but thats another story.

you just need to uncheck the option "tasks menu->block autosave but queue for it", newspro just checks it so it won't try to write continously when there is no free space on disk.

as to the database volume when you free space tasks will be automatically resumed, newspro checks once in several seconds whether there is enough space (the threshold is set in properties->general, low space, suspend when....).

thanks, I guess that I had just never seen the check mark there before, or at least never seen the difference.

Just checked it out and it works great.

It was just one of these naggin little questions that I figured there had to be a better way than my work around. :)
