Just wanted to check if the server is up...
I'm getting,"Search Failed. A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond..."
Is there a place to check on server status (url?) other than here?
Also using the newsbin index service & wondering what other index engines are recommended and integrate with UE?
yes after the modem had been replaced few months ago looks like all works ok.
the usenet volume is growing, if it grows further maybe i'll add another computer to double the capacity/retention twice or so, need to make small adjustments to the server software then, there will be parallel computing
