how to configure NPRO to resume after connection dropped

Post by hilander »

Hi, I am using a modem dialup connection and when that connection drops ( happens often where I live ) My computer redials automatically, but NPro doesn't continue downloading after. Is there a way to get it to continue after the connection is re-established Automatically?
Thanks

Look at the menu bar for dialup and then dialup properties. Mine is set to suspend (95/98/NT) and it stops when the connection drops and resumes when the connection comes back. I have no problem with this by default, so not sure if there are any other settings to look at.

Another option might be:

use norton systemworks 2004. There is an option to keep the dial in connection alive. I do not use it because i have cable. maybe there are like "keep alive connection " programs.
