deleted one partition and spread the space over the remaining 3. now newspro wont download or display any headers. it appears to be running fine, but nothing shows up either in the open newsgroup window or as number of headers in the newsgroup list, i.e. all <empty>. any ideas?

Yes, I let the header retrieval complete. When the header retrieval is complete no headers show in the open newsgroup window and in the newsgroup list window the group is shown as (empty).

I had the same problem after upgrading Zonealarm...I uninstalled Zonealarm and installed Sygate's free firewall and the world is good!

I sometimes get a message like this in clusters. What is causing it? Is it something I can adjust in NewsPro? The error is approximate. It goes by quickly.

Thanks Alex. It seems there is a problem with the post. Though the size of some of the attachments initially shows a 24000 or so lines, when the download is complete they are only about 35. Thanks for your time.

I downloaded several articles in a series and used the "Download & Save" option from the right-click menu. It shows the articles and attachments downloaded successfully and that all parts of the article are there, but it didn't save the attachments automatically and it's not saving any...
