Complete uninstall of BI firewall software. Newspro launched, after 'bout hour 1/2 10055s came upon me again. ah well, it was worth a try.

Still open to ideas.

Well, microsoft showes they know about this error / bug, but
the only recomendation they give are program changes.

I think you all have helped clairify the problem very well.
Have any idea where to get an IP buffer cleaner ?
Perhaps using a pipe cleaner and reaming every IP port
