whether it is router or not, the cause is more likely to be in some third party winsock related driver on your computer, as to now there is always impact on the overall connection speed when more than one network application (not necessarily ue) is running. well I could do if I had a separate modem...

Set the pause speed to 1 and no problems showing after about half an hour. Just to check I set it back to 0 and it locked up after about 10 minutes. Went back to 1 and haven't had a lockup in the few hours since.

I'm not using a software firewall at the moment. I was previously using ZoneAlarm, now uninstalled (or is it???). My router is a netgear dg834.

Pausing

The pause button works wonderfully in UE - I especially like the timer! Unfortunately it's not just pausing UE but my internet connection - ie, firefox, mail, whatever all grinds to a halt when I pause UE. The second I unpause they all start working again.
