"no match found" for recent results

Hi,

If i do a search on post that are 12 hours old (or newer) , UE returns search failed, no match found.
However if i do "open and get new hearders", the articles are there

What's wrong ?

Yeah something seems wrong.
Couldn't get results for roughly last 3.2days on a set of newsgroups I keep headers up to 315days.
I sometimes get only zero par2 file on results, maybe some feed hiccup
With other newsgroups like a.b.h.x264 and ue search engine, everything seems fine.
You might wanna indicate on which newsgroups you're having problems.

read about the search syntax on the UE website

UE uses wildmats (like wildcards) with nesting / boolean expression capabilities on the top rather than just "and".

so if you entered several words assuming the "and" relationship you may get no matches.

in part "&" means "and" and "*" means "anything" (the latter like wildcards).

It wasn't a boolean serach just a plain words search however this is working today

I've fixed it, a setting in one instance became too tight after reconfiguring for higher retention - causing the delay.
