Search service doesn't work anymore

I am facing problems with search service. It seems that problem started after a last search update (Not sure).
So problem is that nothing is found, when Search button is pressed. Actually it seems that nothing happens (search service tab doesn't open).
Downloading of the articles works right when using NZB files, so connection seems to work to newsgroup server.

Any help?

Do you get "No matches found" message box?

If you press "edit menu->properties->search/import, reset search configuration" does it work?

The last version you used wasn't older than v2.9.5? In v2.9.5 "all words" syntax was introduced and set as default in properties, if you used OR (|) expressions you need to set boolean wildmats as default.

Probably there was a problem saving settings given UE verifies checksum after updating configuration.

Better exclude UE database settings, newsgroups, bodies and temb/db subdirectories from antivirus scan.
