newspro is getting slower and slower

If I download a lot of headers I see that newspro is getting slower.
The download speed, the scrolling . I have to restart. Can someone help me?

P4 2,4
Ram: 512Mb

if I catch newspro using too much system resources I press F10. I dunno exactly what it does... minimizes HD swaping by putting all the stuff it needs in RAM. I'm pretty sure then it clears the stuff it doesnt need from RAM to increase free resources.
