The checkbox on delete history is not working

Using 7.5.2 (maybe also on earlier versions) the checkbox to delete any entries of the history in a certain category is not working. f.e. having checked "Search: Subject", then closing the app and opening it again is not removing old search entries, they remain there until manually deleting them.

I haven't upgraded to the latest [abc] versions since there are no changelogs for the changes and I love to see what the update does before using it. If the current version (m?) is fixing this, I'll take the plunge

Small update: With 7.6 the delete items on program exit option when checking "Search: Subject" still does not work, no deletion is done automatically.

Because I missed your post, I only replied to a forum post on Oct 6 and I didn't notice that there were older posts maybe because I was too busy at the time. I'll check it out and reply here.

The item order on exit didn't correspond to the order in the delete history dialog, so there is shift by 2 starting after the "Quick filter: Articles" entry (but better not to use it since the order on exit will be fixed), the issue was introduced when adding newznab quick filter bar.

I fixed it in v7.5.3 https://www.usenetexplorer.com/older.htm if you don't need internal 7z since otherwise it should work the same (I wasn't so sure about the 7z third party code running in the UE process address space, so all changes were made in v7.5.3 as well, but as of now there are zero issues). I may compile v7.6 later (I only fixed its source code, the delete history dialog source file is identical to v7.5.3).

Now I replaced v7.6 as well it will show at least 7.6b in help menu->about (the current download), no new or minor version notification, just redownload it manually.

For those user downloads otherwise no change, but there is also a master version compilation to manage the search service (for my use only) and its portion of the source code did change, so for the purpose of bookkeeping it is a neater arrangement.
