Providers increasing retention to 365 - 400 days

Is the UE search also going to 365 days as the newsservers?

yes, should be no problem, i'm working on software adjustment to make it not expensive as to additional hardware, most likely will finish tomorrow.

i've restarted the server with the updated software, so increasing retention now will be only question of adding hardware.
