What I am wanting to do is to either import an NZB or results from the Search Service, but to exclude from automatic downloading, any headers with "sample" in their subjects.
I've created a kill filter, but that seems to work only on manually downloaded headers.
And I haven't been able to find a way for the quick filter taskbar to work with either the Articles or Downloads windows in the Task Manager.
Is there any way to accomplish what I am trying?
Filter on the Articles or Downloads windows?
I've just checked it appears import groups are not listed in the kill filter tab. There is no technical necessity, probably I wanted to prevent confusion, like you import something and it won't appear, it is also why UE undeletes previously downloaded files in such cases.
But you also should take into consideration if your sample files are included into the par2 set - even as the sample files won't be downloaded - the equal volume or more of par2 files will be downloaded and then disk activity will have place to read all the data + par2 files then CPU time wasted to restore those sample files, if set needed repair anyway - since those sample files are source of data blocks - without them you may not have enough par2 files for repair, so maybe it is not a good idea to exclude part of download if you also want par2 verification / repair of any kind.
