I am currently experiencing a search failed (5) error message ("A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond") as a result of which no search results are being shown within UE.
My usenet-server works well since it is updating newsgroups. Already tried to reset search configuration within preferences but without any success.
No changes being made in modem/router or other configuration/network settings so it is somewhat odd to experience this malfunction.
Who can help me out of this?

Problem seems to be solved now - without any changes being made, the search server generates results.... somewhat odd.

There was a connectivity problem, I didn't switch to backup configuration since until the switch complete the connectivity would be back.
