Purging Headers

Does UE when getting new headers mark the old headers as old, and then keep them for what ever I have set to retain headers for, in my case 7 days.

Does it purge old headers?

It will purge older headers beyond retention set in edit menu->properties->newsgroups if "the rest" set to "delete" which is the default.

If I have 7 days set in Retention, but get new headers every day will it mark them as old and only show me the new headers for that day? I just marked the headers as old on the tool bar, then downloaded the new messages, and it worked, now will UE do this with out me manually doing it?Thanks for the help.

I found it Alex in the Properties>General> Mark New Headers old when closing.
