Hi,
I am currently using a laptop during the day and a desktop at night. I would like to be able to transfer newspro back and forth between these computers. I have tried copying the directories between the computers, but the pending and failed tasks queue and headers do not seem to transfer. Any advice on how this can work?
Thanks,
Brian
Newspro on Multiple computers
ensure properties->tasks, 'save task list' and 'with failed' are checked. you need to exit the program before copying the directory (anyway otherwise copying will be interrupted because of open files).
ensure that when you invoke file menu->switch database you see the 'Data' directory as the immediate subdirectory of the selected (newspro database) directory.

I did have to enable the save queue tick. I have been having a few issues with this however:
1. It seems now that enable "enable auto get headers" becomes disabled everytime I restart newspro.
2. Also, which dat file saves the saved attachment directories and watch/auto information. I have a D:\ partition on my desktop that I save to, but only a C:\ partition on my laptop that I can save to. So, I have to manually change all of the folders in properties every time I transfer the program back and forth.
Thanks,
Brian
