CPU clogged while in conjunction with NIS2003/4

Hello all,

Anybody having the same experience while running NewsPro in conjunction with Norton Internet Security and/or Antivirus 2003 or 2004 ?
Sometimes when getting new headers on a newsgroup or loading a large db the ccApp.exe (executable from Norton) takes up to 100% of CPU, and this until I kill the newspro.exe process.

Any ideas ?

Newspro's databases could be so large that the scanning engine could choke on them. Add the newspro database directory or just the main newspro database files to the scanner's exception list.

I've run into this issue while using VMware as well where the files are over 2 gigs in since sometimes for the virtual hard drives. Added them to the exception list and the problem was fixed.
