Header Auto Update

Post by boston62 »

Can anyone tell me if in properties>watch/autoheader Check Box with SAVE > incomplete partials Should I have this incomplete partials box checked?

If I have UE to update my headers every 4 hours, will it keep updating the articles that are incomplete at the time the headers were updated?

example

Lets say The Hulk which shows at partial and at 50%, will the autoheader updating keep adding to this, until it's complete? Thanks for the help

I have it checked so even incomplete files get saved and can be used to repair with par2. But you need to have Save/Unpack->Duplicate file names set to overwrite or UE will save to a new name every time it saves a partial.

Yes, as long as they get completed on the server. Every 4 hours UE will download any new headers.

As UE can do many tasks like download headers, articles, group lists and post new articles, those settings control what has the highest chance to start next. In your example image, headers has a higher chance to be downloaded than articles.

Hope this helps.
